Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Cochin

Upon arrive in Cochin airport, meet our representative, after welcome, and proceed to the hotel. Also Kochi, which is located on the south-west coast in Kerala. Also called as the Gateway to Kerala, situated on the Arabian Sea. Kochi is one of the most alluring city of the state of Kerala.
 
On arrival at your pre-booked hotel. Check in to the hotel. Rest for a while. Post lunch, proceed for a half day sightseeing covering the places such as Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese Fishing Net, St. Francis Church, Cochin Shipyard and Mattancherry Island. Stay and spice market.
 
In the evening, enjoy the Kathakali dance performance (Optional). 
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 Cochin-Munnar(By Road-130 Kilometres)

Today after having an early breakfast, proceed to Munnar. One of the most charming hill station in the Idukki district of Kerala. This amazing town is situated on the Western Ghats mountain range which offers the exotic species of flora and fauna. Munnar is not only popular as a hill resort, but it is also the centre of the Kerala’s tea growing district.
 
On arrival, check into the hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure or you explore the surroundings at your won or you make also visit some local market where you can buy some authentic handicraft items of Kerala. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3 Munnar

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Munnar.  Visit the major attractions including Christ Church, established in 1910 by the British. Explore Eravikulam National Park, the home of Nilgiri Tahr apart from this is also vast flora and fauna.
 
Then explore Mattupetty Dam, a 160 feet high dam has vast reservoir extending several kilometres into the hill, located at 13 kms from Munnar. Enjoy the boating here. Visit Anamudi peak it located at the elevation of 2695 meter above the sea level, here you will get a trekking opportunities here.

Day 4 Munnar-Kumarakom(By Road-138 Kilometres)

After breakfast, proceed to Kumarakom, one of the most beautiful tourist destination of Kerala. This amazing town is well known for its astonishing backwater. The town is situated on the Vembanad Lake, which is the largest lake of fresh water.
 
Check-in at a backwater resort. After freshen up, proceed to visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, kwon as birdwatcher’s paradise. It is protected by a thick cluster of mangroves, the bird sanctuary spread across 14 acres and home to over 180 species of birds. 
 
The best way to visit on foot by one and half kilometres on walking trek, where you may spot heron, darters, water duck, waterfowl, owl, cuckoo and Siberian crane. You may also take some adventure activities like water skiing and windsailing.
 
Stay overnight at the backwater resort.

Day 5 Kumarakom-Alleppey(Alappuzha)(By Road-34 kilometres)

After having an early breakfast, proceed to Alleppey. Often called Alappuzha. It is one of the oldest planned city and one of the most popular tourist destination of India, which is renowned for its marvellous backwaters. 
 
Upon arrival at Alleppey, check-in at the houseboat. The houseboat has well-equipped rooms with all modern comforts. Overnight at Alleppey.

Day 6 Alleppey-Kovalam(By Road-160 kilometres)

After breakfast, proceed to Kovalam, Kerala’s most popular tourist attraction. This splendid beach town is located on the shores of Arabian Sea in Thiruvananthapuram city. The meaning of Kovalam is a grove of coconut trees which gives it the true significance as the entire town is surrounded by coconut trees. The city is renowned for its three crescent shaped beaches separated by rocky headlands are the main hotspot here.
 
Upon arrival, check in at the resort. After freshen up, proceed to explore the beautiful beaches the town such as Hawa Beach, Lighthouse Beach and Samudra Beach, apart from this you may also enjoy the water sports activity such as kayaking and swimming. Here you may also take relaxing Ayurveda massage as well (Optional).

Day 7 Kovalam-Kanyakumari-Kovalam (By Road-83 Kilometres)

After having breakfast, proceed towards Kanyakumari, known as Cape Comorin during the British period, it is one of the holiest place for Hindus, located on the foothill of Cardamom Hills. It is home an oldest Lord Shiva temple. 
You will also get the chance to explore the beaches here. Apart from this visit Padmanabhapuram Palace which is the magnificent architecture gem constructed during the 16th century.
 
Back to Kovalam in the evening. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 8 Kovalam-Trivandrum(By Road-19 kilometres)Departure
